Central used the inside play of J.J. Armentrout and Michael Marston and guard Aaron Heishman to defeat Brentsville 71-47 in Woodstock Monday night. The Falcons secured fourth spot in the Northwest District and will host a first round game against Sherando.
The Falcon trio combined for 27 points in the first half for a 34-22 halftime lead. They combined for 24 points in the second half which was the margin of victory for the Falcons(15-7,11-5).
Brentsville(4-16,2-14) was led by center Travis Garrettt with 11 points. Ed Horton, Justin Weaver, and David Hammond added 8 points each.
For the Falcons, Armentrout finished with 24 points followed by Heishman and Marston with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
