The Stonewall Jackson Lady Generals used a strong second quarter and solid free-throw shooting in the second half to defeat Page County 51-35 in Quicksburg, Wednesday night.
Meghan Lutz scored 9 of her team high 17 points in the second quarter as the Generals (13-4, 7-0) went in at the half with a 21-14 lead.
In the second half, Stonewall connected on 12 of 19 free throw shooting to “seal the deal” for the Generals.
The Panthers (7-9, 1-6) were led by Kari Jenkins with 10 points. Taylor Jenkins and Meaghan Smith added 6 points each.
Lutz led the Generals with 17 points. Heater Stout added 15 points for Stonewall.
