Central Falcons defeat Warren County

The Central Falcons (5-8, 4-4) used their outside shooting, improved free throw shooting and a stingy defense to defeat Warren County (0-10, 0-8) 54-18 in Woodstock on Wednesday, Jan. 14.

The Lady Falcons connected on six 3-pointers, 14 deuces and 8 of 15 free throw shots for the game. Defensively, the Falcons held the Wildcats to 5 total points in the second half.

Senior Heather Pond scored 6 points for the Wildcats. Ashley Ebersole led the Falcons with 13 points. Ashley Jernigan and Kelsey Bowman had 11 points each for Central. Sophomore reserve Taylor Pumphrey added 9 points for the Falcons.
